Mission Statement
'To deliver individualised training that leads to improved wellbeing, employability and economic prosperity'

Kiara Training College has been in operation since June 2006. It was primarily a Health and Social Care and Skills for Life training institution but has now diversified to cover other courses.

The college provides a holistic approach to the personal development plan of employees in various sector skills areas by providing them with appropriate Qualification Credit Frameworks (QCF), Skills for Life courses (Literacy, Numeracy, ESOL and ICT) as well as a host of short courses for continuous professional development.

The new college premises are located at 12 Cricket Green, Mitcham, Surrey and are accessible by train, tram link and local bus routes. It has disabled access and facilities. A branch of the college is located at Ilford in East London.
The college initiated Beyond Boundaries - a project for people in the Black Asian and Minority Ethnic group in the UK. It is also initiating Brain Gain projects in some developing countries to help replace Health and Social Care professionals that are constantly migrating overseas leaving their native countries short of health care professionals.

Kiara Training College work closely with two other companies; Kiara Personnel – a recruitment and employment agency and Active Support and Care – a community interest community working with vulnerable people in the community. We are presently running a Work Club in partnership with these companies and regional Job Centre plus (JCP) offices.
