Kiara Training College is a productive and forward-looking College. We are committed to helping serve society in many different ways. We have 2 associate companies that all work in partnership with us. They are Active Support and Care and Kiara Personnel.

ACTIVE SUPPORT AND CARE (CIC)

 Active Support and Care is a Community Interest Company - that is not for private advantage but established solely for the benefit of the community. The company has been registered to support people who have mental health issues. The main objectives of Active Support and Care are: 

1. Improving the individual's quality of life in the community through one to one support sessions
2. To reduce hospital re-admissions for such people

 Active Support and Care also provides active person-centred and individualised support for vulnerable people in the community by helping them to find accommodation-based services in the UK and abroad. Its clients include older people with special needs, people with mental health issues or learning disabilities, women suffering from domestic violence and homeless people.

Active Support and Care supports other projects in Africa with related aim.

Current Project: They  have a 6 bedroom flat in Devon where they home and support ex-offenders.

Future Project: They hope to develop a day centre for elderly people with metal health issues in the community.

KIARA PERSONNEL

 Kiara Personnel is a recruitment agency specialising in the supply of healthcare and domestic staff to various organisations including those catering for needs of older people with symptoms of dementia, mental health support needs, people with learning disabilities and people requiring a culturally tailored service.

 Kiara Personnel liaise closely with Kiara Training College to helps learners that are volunteers and who successfully complete an NVQ in Health and Social Care (or other relevant course) through Kiara Training College to then find relevant employment. Kiara Personnel is expanding and now able to supply trained learners to employers in the education, retail, customer services and ICT sectors.
