Apprenticeships:
An apprenticeship is a nationally recognised training programme that combines real work with learning and training, both on and off the job. Therefore, an apprenticeship allows you to gain a qualification whilst working. It is the government’s preferred option for all vocational learners.
The benefits of doing an apprenticeship for the individual:
- you learn and gain qualifications while actually doing a real job
- By studying at college and training on site, you will learn the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills that complement each other and enable you to understand both aspects of the job
- an apprentice will receive a wage, whilst training and working towards the full apprenticeship
Currently we offer apprenticeships in Health and Social Care. Please click on the course of your interest.
