Description:

Applicants must have a FE teaching qualification and relevant teaching experience in the UK. In addition, applicants must possess strong motivational skills and have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Key Duties:

To deliver ESOL teaching resulting in learners' achievement of entry level, level 1 and 2 qualifications in ESOL
To plan and assess learner progress using the ESOL Adult Core Curriculum
To induct ESOL learners
To act as a Personal Tutor to learners where necessary
To continually review learner progress
To conduct and invigilate tests/exams
Be able to manage own workload to meet set targets
To develop systems and materials that support the management of learning including schemes of work, assessment schedules, pre-entry and interview processes, induction, course handbooks and tutorial systems
To work collaboratively with colleagues, managers and external partners to enhance existing curriculum learning styles and develop new learning programmes
To actively promote and implement the College's Equal Opportunities Policy.
