Internal Verifiers

Description:

Applicants should hold a V1 qualification (or D34 if currently verifying) and recent experience working in a training capacity. In addition, applicants must have sound interpersonal skills and excellent management abilities.

Key Duties:

To induct and train assessors as required in line with Awarding Body and contract compliance requirements
To undertake overall responsibility for the induction of new assessors and on-going assessment of the programme in line with occupational standards
To train, assess, support and mentor all learners/assessors within a dedicated case load
Internally Verify to set Quality Assurance standards and deadlines and give timely feedback to assessors
To offer support and guidance to learners and employers
To evaluate the general provision and delivery of training with the aim of continuous improvement
To ensure consistent standards achieved across assessment team
To attend and contribute to our College NVQ Standardisation Meetings
To actively promote and implement the College's Equal Opportunities Policy.
